Time Marches On

I can't believe I am saying this, but I only have one week left on the East Coast. Although this has been a difficult summer for the sales industry, it has been my favorite summer by far. We really have had the opportunity to see so many things while we have been out here. I thought I would post some pictures of our last group outing to the beach, I honestly could not get Landon out of the water, he loved it! We have met some really great people out here and we will miss them when we leave!

Landon fed that seagull a cheeto, it was hilarious. In other news, the visit from my family was so much fun! We traveled everywhere, all with three little ones in tow. The babies were such good sports, and we made some hilarious memories. After they left I couldn't even think about them for about 2 days because I would start missing them and tear up. 

This is what the babies looked like in the back of my car, which just left the front seat for Kim, Jennifer and Cortney all to sit in. You might think I am exaggerating, but I am not. We drove all around Philly like that. 

Thanks for coming to see me girls, it was ridiculously fun. Start saving your pennies for next summer! 

The Travelin' Women

Once upon a time in a land far, far, away there were four cousins named Jennifer, Cortney, Kimberly and Che'Lyn. These were not ordinary girls, oh no... these were magically creative girls who coined themselves "The traveling women". They would rummage through the trunks of old clothes in their Grandmother's basement and spend the rest of the day wearing dresses, long johns and and old men's suits while referring to each other as Ed, Ned, Jed and Red. As the years passed, the activities evolved, but never the girls' desires for crazy and wild adventures. They made up stories to intrigued strangers about visiting from Hollywood, claimed their Grandmother was a black belt karate instructor who taught private lessons at the local laundromat, terrorized their Aunt Linda throughout the town of Logan clogging for strange men in the mall and pranking people from her home phone line. And in recent years... haunted Salt Lake City dressed as witches or over adoring Neil Diamond fanatics. Best part of this story? Guess who is coming to see me tomorrow?! Nope, not just two babies....

Three adorable babies! It's going to get a little crazy, but it's time we pass the torch to the next generation, might as well start them early! 

Where in the world...

Is Che'Lyn Fullmer?! You can find her moving boxes, scanning equipment, packing up clothes, dishes, and other what nots.... while scheduling jobs and doing paperwork for two different offices because WE MOVED TO FAIRFAX VIRGINIA! 

Smorgasboard

Historical sites, bowling, dinners, movies, shows, beaches.... My blog is beginning to look like an ad for a time share. While I would like to make up some excuse for that, I won't... because in one month's time, real life is going to slap me in the face. In lieu of reality, here is what we have been up to this week. 

Sunday after church we went to Valley Forge, then bowling with the whole office and finally out to dinner at P.F. Chang's. 




Yesterday the girls and I packed up our dolls and dishes and hit Ocean City, NJ for a day of waves, sun and boardwalk shoppin'. The water was so warm and we had a blast playing in the waves. Check our my giant piece of pizza, it was as big as my torso. Don't judge me! Thanks for all the laughs girls, that was a fabulous day. 

My arch enemy....

The sour rag. You know the one. In the sink. I absolutely hate the smell of old, sour rags and since we moved to Pennsylvania (leaving my fabulous washer and dryer behind) I cannot rid myself of them. They haunt me in the kitchen, in the bathroom and scream at me from the dirty clothes bin. I come to you all as friends, how can I keep this from happening?

Happy Birthday America!

Celebrating the 4th of July in the birthplace of America was quite the experience! In the morning Annie and I went down to the Historic District to watch the parade and it was so much fun! All of the old wars, veterans and eras in history were represented in some way or another. There were a few countries in cultural outfits and marching bands in outrageous costumes. I was so glad that I got to see it! 

After Landon and the rest of the boys got home, we went back downtown to the "America Festival" and attended a Sheryl Crow concert and a firework show. It was absolutely packed and just a little crazy for my personality, but we had such a good time. I love the fourth of July and have loved being able to walk the same ground that our founding fathers walked. I am so grateful for all the veterans and inspired leaders that allow us to live our lives the way we want and enjoy the freedoms we have been given!
